2026 Girl's 3 v. 3 Summer League

Where:
Wednesday for the month of June (6/3, 6/10, 6/17, 6/24) (Incoming 3rd-6th Grade 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.)

Cost:
For one player $75 (plus service fees)
2 + Players $100 (plus service fees)

Description:
-For the first 15-20 minutes, we will practice a skill/offensive concept that we will incorporate into our 3 on 3 play. Once we have practiced the skill/ offensive concept, we will divide players into a team and will play a round robin tournament each session.
 -No need to sign up with a team! We will divide teams up based on who is there. You will likely have a new team each session.
-We will play 3-5 minute games keeping score. Defense calls the fouls. The team with the most points after time expires will get the win for that game. A tie-breaker will be decided by alternating free throws to decide a winner.
-The two teams with the best record will play in the final game for a prize.

Focus:
3 on 3 is a great way to learn offensive concepts such as: Spacing, Screening, Reading Screens, Cutting, Ball Movement, Passing, Off Ball Movement, Inside-Out Offense. These are all major keys in our motion offense at the high school level. 3 on 3 allows athletes to have the ball in their hands more when compared to 5 on 5 play.

Goal:
To build a strong foundation in the concepts we will run when they get to their MS and HS basketball season. We also want to build better basketball IQ and competitiveness within our players here at Spearfish.

2026 AAU Spartan Boys Basketball

This summer, we will be offering an opportunity for players to compete in additional basketball tournaments. We know many of our players look for chances to play with other AAU teams in the offseason, and this option gives them the opportunity to play extra basketball while continuing to stay together as a group and compete within our system.

As coaches, we are limited in the number of summer contacts we can have with our players. Because of that, we found an option for the boys to attend 3 additional team camps this summer outside of the camps they will already attend with us. Current BHSU basketball players Jaeton Hackley and Blake Volmer will coach the team for these camps and practices.

This cost would not be covered by Spartan Basketball. Think of this as an AAU-style opportunity. We estimate the cost will be around $300 (plus service fee) per player, which would help cover:

Coaching payment for Jaeton and Blake for camps and practices
10 separate workouts over the summer with Jaeton and Blake
Camp registration fees
Hotel accommodations (for coaches)

The camps we are currently looking into are:
USF Team Camp (3 Game Guarantee) - June 20th - 21st (Saturday and Sunday)
Dakota Wesleyan Team Camp (3 Game Guarantee) – July 13 (Monday)
Northern State Team Camp (3 Game Guarantee) – July 15 (Wednesday)

As with other AAU programs, each parent/athlete would be responsible for arranging and covering their own:
Transportation
Hotel rooms
Food

AAU High School Boy's Basketball

2026 Boy's 3 v. 3 Summer League

When:
Tuesday and Thursday (Incoming 6th-8th: 11:00 a.m. -12:00 p.m.) (Incoming 3rd-5th: 12:00 p.m. - 1:00 p.m.) for the months of June and July.
Cost:
Fourteen 1-hour sessions. Total cost is under $10/session.
-Single Athlete: $135 (plus service fee)
-Family Price: $175 (plus service fee)
(Family price is for households with multiple children participating in the 3 on 3 league. The price will be $175 (plus service fee) for all of them to participate)
