Fall Skills Academy

• Starts the week after Labor Day

• 3-4 week sessions as the schedule allows

• 1st-3rd grades & 4th-6th grades will be paired together

  • Introduce and emphasize fundamentals to all ages and ability levels

  • Create excitement about basketball

Competitive Season

• 1st Grade Girls and Boys will have clinics held each Saturday during their individual season. These clinics are designed to continue skill, with developing the ideas/concepts of basketball.  Each week these clinics will focus on dribbling, shooting, and passing, with progressing from 1 v. 1, to 2 v. 2, and ending the season playing 3 v. 3.  

• Competitive season will consist of 5 weeks of game, played on each Saturday (Girl's the month of October, Boys the month of November/December).

• The last week of games will be a double-elimination tournament for 4/5th, & 6th grades

• Teams

•   Will be decided after registration for season closes.

• Practices

•   Will be held once a week throughout the course of your season, practices will be one hour long.  Practice times  will be decided once teams are assigned.

• Games

•   Will be played 2nd-3rd grade (4 vs. 4), with NO SCORE being kept.  4th-5th grade ( 5 vs. 5) with score being kept.  6th grade girls, will all practice together, and then teams will be mixed up on Saturday's to play one game.  Boy's 6th grade will be split into teams and play games on Saturday's.
